Privacy Policy

PushUp Unlock is designed to keep your workouts and app rules on your iPhone. This page explains what stays local and when service providers may process limited information.

PushUp Unlock respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the PushUp Unlock iOS app, visit pushupunlock.com, or contact us for support.

1. Information handled by the App

Camera data

PushUp Unlock uses your camera to recognize your pose and count push-ups. Camera frames are processed in real time on your device using Apple’s on-device technologies. PushUp Unlock does not record, save, or upload camera video or images.

Screen Time and selected apps

With your permission, PushUp Unlock uses Apple’s Family Controls and Managed Settings frameworks to restrict the individual apps you choose. Apple provides the App with protected app tokens for those selections. These selections and your per-app rules are stored locally on your device and are used only to apply the restrictions and unlock time you configure.

PushUp Unlock does not read your browsing history, messages, contacts, photos, precise location, or the content inside restricted apps.

Workout, plan, and settings data

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

  • Your push-up goals and unlock-time settings
  • Completed workout dates, push-up counts, and earned unlock time
  • Daily totals and active unlock periods
  • Selected-app tokens and custom app rules
  • Permission status and App preferences
  • Limited onboarding information, such as the name you enter and plan estimates

Most onboarding answers are processed only on your device to personalize the experience. This information is not sent to our servers.

Notifications

PushUp Unlock uses local notifications to help you return from the iOS restriction screen to your workout. The App does not register for or send remote marketing push notifications.

2. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

PushUp Unlock uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage subscription access. RevenueCat may process an anonymous App User ID, purchase history, App Store receipt information, subscription and entitlement status, and limited technical information such as device type and operating system. The App does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, workout history, or camera footage.

3. Support communications

If you contact us at hello@pushupunlock.com, we receive the email address you use, the contents of your message, and any files or screenshots you choose to send. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information.

4. Website information

When you visit pushupunlock.com, our hosting infrastructure may automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and security or error logs.

We use this information only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website. The website does not use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising cookies.

5. How we use information

We use information only as needed to:

  • Provide and maintain PushUp Unlock
  • Count workouts and apply app restrictions
  • Verify subscriptions and restore purchases
  • Respond to support requests
  • Diagnose technical problems
  • Protect the App and website from abuse
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

6. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information may be processed by:

  • Apple, for App Store purchases, device permissions, Screen Time functionality, and operating-system services
  • RevenueCat, for anonymous purchase verification and subscription management
  • Our website and email infrastructure providers, when necessary to deliver the website or respond to support requests
  • Authorities or professional advisers, when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security

If the service is reorganized, transferred, or acquired, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

7. Data retention

Information stored locally in the App remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the App. Depending on your device settings, some local data may also be included in backups managed by Apple.

Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase-related information according to their own policies and legal obligations. Support emails and website logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, recordkeeping, or legal requirements.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Disable Camera, Screen Time, or Notification access in iOS Settings
  • Change or remove restricted apps and rules in the App
  • Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account
  • Remove locally stored App data by deleting the App from your device
  • Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent directly to us

Because most App data stays only on your device, we generally cannot access or recover it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a local data-protection authority.

9. Children’s privacy

PushUp Unlock does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the website. If a child is not old enough to consent under applicable law, a parent or guardian should supervise their use of the App and authorize any purchase.

10. Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information under our control. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Apple, RevenueCat, hosting providers, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, such processing is subject to appropriate legal safeguards.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, website, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
