Why does PushUp Unlock need Camera access?
The camera recognizes your pose and counts push-ups. Processing happens in real time on your iPhone. Video is not recorded, saved, or uploaded.
Why does it need Screen Time access?
Screen Time permission lets PushUp Unlock restrict only the individual apps you select and temporarily unlock the target app after you complete a set.
Why does it need Notifications?
Apple’s restriction screen cannot open PushUp Unlock directly. Press Start, then tap the local notification to open the workout.
The camera is not counting my push-ups. What should I do?
Place your iPhone sideways with your full body in frame. Use good lighting, keep the camera steady, lower until your elbows are near 90 degrees, and press all the way up. Make sure Camera access is enabled in iOS Settings.
How do I unlock a restricted app?
Open the restricted app, press Start, tap the PushUp Unlock notification, and complete the required set. The target app unlocks for its configured time. Other restricted apps remain locked.
How do I change reps or unlock time?
Open PushUp Unlock, select the app, and adjust its push-up goal or unlock duration. Changes are saved automatically.
How do I add or remove restricted apps?
Use Choose Apps on the home screen or open Restricted Apps in Settings. Removing an app also removes its remaining unlock time and custom rule.
How do I restore a subscription?
Open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PushUp Unlock → Cancel Subscription.
Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. For billing or refund help, visit Apple Support.
How do I change permissions?
Open iPhone Settings → PushUp Unlock to review Camera and Notification access. Screen Time authorization is managed through Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls system.
How do I remove my data?
Most PushUp Unlock data is stored only on your iPhone. Deleting the App removes its local app container, although Apple-managed backups may retain a copy depending on your settings.

Is PushUp Unlock medical or fitness advice?
No. It is a general habit and fitness tool. Exercise within your ability, use a safe space, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.
